Today I'm practicing some gratitude for finding my way into this career path with horses.
I've known for a very long time - as long as I can remember - that I wanted to work with horses. I've loved all of my jobs with horses over the years - vet clinic, stables, equine organizations. I've learned invaluable lessons and gained lifelong friendships with the people that I met.
However, I always felt this restlessness, this feeling of the job being "not quite right", leading me to the next opportunity. Now, finally, I'm here - working for myself as an Equine Performance Therapist. It took me a couple of years to realize it after I earned my certification in 2015, but this is what I'm meant to be doing. The most exciting part is that this is only the beginning! As I continue to learn, gain new tools and understanding, and try new things, my career will evolve and grow.
I'm so thankful for these last few years of learning, so excited for the future, and so thankful for the support of all of my family, friends, and dear clients. Every referral, every word of encouragement, even every "Like" on social media means the world to me.
