Kaiti has been instrumental in my mare’s journey to success for both her mental and physical health! Previously, Lulu disliked being touched, didn’t really trust humans and definitely didn’t realize that humans could make her feel comfortable. Now Lulu loves Kaiti’s visits (and loves Kaiti!) and she understands that humans can provide help and comfort.
Kaiti provides such an open space for the horses to communicate that Lulu is now able to tell us her likes and dislikes calmly rather than shutting down in anxiety and fear.
Kaiti was also able to solve one of the issues with body soreness and ‘mystery pain’ we were experiencing that our vet was unable to find the cause of. It took a bit of problem solving and thinking outside the box, but Lulu has gone from being very unrideable due to reactivity and pain, to being a fun, spicy little mare ready for an adventure!
Kaiti’s great strength is listening to what the horses need, and trying to provide it for them the best way possible. She is always willing to have in-depth conversations that explain what she’s doing and why, and is also up for listening to harebrained ideas and going down research holes on new topics. I love that she is always expanding her knowledge base, and learning new skills to add to her already overflowing toolbox.
Thank you Kaiti for helping save my mare, and for putting up with me and my constant questions and queries! Lulu and I would definitely not be where we are at today without you!
